All enduring staff are fully trained, holding either a Bachelor of Education teaching EC or a Diploma of Teaching EC, and are registered teachers.

We offer children opportunities to thrive relationships where they are qualified to learn and practice those crucial social skills of caring for others, both previous and younger than themselves. First Five is licensed for 25 children aged from 4 months to 5 years and our trivial group sizes enable us to attain our aim of a family atmosphere where children, teachers and family are all qualified to get to know each other well, and where everyone is treated as an individual. We are located in the heart of the Cannons Creek community on the grounds of Cannons Creek Primary School, only a concise drive from central Porirua.
