Connor Adams Optimist Green and Paul Pettit Laser had perfect days and Richard Schmidt took advantage of the absence of the Paremata Plimmertion juniors in their Sunburst to begin up a gap at the top of Unfold A. The other two pictures show fleets approaching the top mark honest after the begin of the third race. Today's pictures are mainly from race two clockwise from top left P and Otis at the start race, Lasers at top mark Originate A and Starling at top mark and happy faces at the final of the prize giving.
The cold and the premature morning rain kept many away and only seven boats 5 Lasers, a Sunburst and a Navigator came out to race. Close finishes in a number of classes with the standouts in the second race for the Starlings and Open A top picture. Good close racing in all classes with leads temporary throughout the morning made for interesting viewing from the begin boat. Wind freshened through the morning making for testing conditions at the end of the beginning race and through races two and three.
Today's photos show the Lasers getting underway for race one and the Optimists at the beginning of the start sequence for their second race
